In the lull before Christmas my fellow copywriters and I put together lists of our top 25 books to make into a poster. It's quite a fun exercise if you are a bookworm like me - picking out the ones you love the most.

I particularly liked The Shining,
Lord of the Rings trilogy, A Clockwork Orange, The Silence of the Lambs.
If you haven't seen these, I'd highly recommend:
Straw Dogs, starring Dustin Hoffman (directed by Sam Peckinpah) 1971;
The Offence starring Sean Connery (directed by Sidney Lumet) 1972;
Half Broken Things starring Penelope Wilton (directed by Tim Fywell) 2007.

Id definitely have Some Like It Hot and It's A Wonderful Life on my list as well. But my list would contain more classics and foreign films.
